Protect Democracy! Remove Trump Now!

Call Schumer, Gillibrand, and YOUR representative to demand the immediate removal of Donald Trump!
Congressional Switchboard: 202-224-3121
In response to the egregious attack on our democracy in the United States Capitol on Wednesday, January 6, BFP joins with “Protect the Results/NYC”, a coalition of nearly 100 New York City activist organizations, calling for Donald Trump to be immediately removed from office, and for the New York Congressional delegation to demand that Congress reconvene and introduce Articles of Impeachment.
The Protect the Results Coalition joins New York Senator Charles Schumer, soon to be the majority Senate leader, and Senator Gillibrand, in demanding the immediate invocation of the 25th Amendment to remove Donald Trump from the Presidency.
Given the current clear and present dangers, the Coalition demands that Congress immediately reconvene, and that the New York delegation joins Representatives Yvette Clarke, Nydia Velazquez, Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez, Adriano Espaillat, and others, in supporting an impeachment resolution.
If the Vice President and his Cabinet refuse to protect America, the Coalition demands that Congress must impeach the President, and the Senate must remove him.
Brooklyn For Peace has joined over 100 local organizations as part of the national “Protect the Results” coalition. Thousands of New Yorkers have signed the Protect the Results-NYC pledge to defend democracy should the president’s actions seriously threaten the peaceful transfer of power Americans expect and deserve. We need to be ready to mobilize in large numbers quickly, if needed.
