Did you know that the U.S. still has military personnel in Iraq? It’s been 19 years since March 19, 2003 when the U.S. invaded. Since then, there have been 200,000 civilian deaths; 100,000 combatant deaths; 3 million Iraqis displaced; and more than $2.4 trillion wasted. As of Dec. 19, 2021, 2500 troops are still there (in “support roles.”).
