On Thursday July 17th, national organizations are coming together for an action in remembrance of John Lewis: Good Trouble Lives On. The New York Immigration Coalition, The Arc of Justice, Climate Defenders, 50501, Strong Economy for All, and many others are planning a principled and peaceful action on that will center the demand for civil rights for immigrants and for every person in our communities.

Brooklyn For Peace will join the coalition at Foley Square for a short rally and march around 26 Federal Plaza, culminating in a seated time of solidarity and moment of silence. Please wear white and bring flowers in honor of those disappeared by ICE.

RSVP here so the march organizers can get an estimate of how many will be participating, and so that you will receive any last-minute updates.
5:30–6:00: Meet BFP at the corner of Reade and Center Street, south end of Foley Square, next to the Municipal Building.
