July 2 @ 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM
Saturday, July 2, 5:00 PM (Eastern)
DON’T NUKE THE PACIFIC! PROTECT OUR OCEAN! Japan has plans to release 1.28 million metric tons of radioactive water from the Fukushima Nuclear Power Plant into the Pacific Ocean starting in 2023 and continuing for more than 30 years. The dumping of this radioactive water could cause irreparable damage to our planet, and will affect everything from the smallest sea creatures to our human living conditions and everyday lives. Many protest events going on in the world. In New York, we will have a Zoom conference on July 2, 2022, inviting speakers from California and the Pacific Islands. Please join us and share your comments, concerns, and questions. Let’s talk about how we could stop this harmful act.
