SAT: BFP’s Vigil & Outreach for Peace in Ukraine
Beginning this Saturday, April 1, we’ll be in front of the Brooklyn Central Library at Grand Army Plaza from 10:30 am – 12:30 pm to gather petition signatures, hand out flyers, and hold banners and signs calling for peace in Ukraine!

We plan to be there each Saturday for the foreseeable future, weather permitting. Please keep an eye on our Facebook, Twitter, and Instagram for any cancellations.
Let us know if you can be there: email bfp@brooklynpeace.org
The risk of escalation grows daily as the war continues, with dangerous developments such as Putin’s deployment of “tactical” nuclear weapons in Belarus. Learn more about the devastating impacts of tactical nuclear weapons here. Peace activists must continue to call for an immediate ceasefire and negotiated settlement to end the war in Ukraine and prevent nuclear war. If you haven’t already done so, please sign and share our petition to Congress!
GET INVOLVED: Find out who represents you in Congress. Our elected officials respond when they know their constituents are paying attention. Email us at bfp@brooklynpeace.org to let us know who represents you and to get involved in our advocacy.
