THURS – WEBINAR: Reducing Nuclear Danger in the Wake of Russia’s War on Ukraine

Hosted by Coalition for Peace Action (CFPA) with keynote speaker Daryl Kimball, Director of the Arms Control Association based in Washington DC since 2001.
Kimball is deeply informed on all aspects of arms control. Earlier this fall, he convened an excellent webinar on the nuclear danger in Ukraine which included a former US Ambassador who was the chief US negotiator for the New START nuclear reduction treaty. CFPA’s Pennsylvania Director, Ed Aguilar, will also be a respondent to Daryl’s presentation and discuss the proposal for a Christmas Ceasefire in Ukraine as well as ways to preserve the verification arrangements of the New START Treaty in the wake of Russia’s abrupt withdrawal from that process.
