On April 23, Korean Peace Network, Peace Action NYS, and supporters will symbolically connect the North Korean and South Korean UN Missions in New York, with a human chain, calling for peace and reconciliation on the Korean peninsula.

The Korean War ended with the signing of the 1953 Armistice Agreement, which calls for the conclusion of a formal peace treaty, yet no such treaty has ever been signed. Another round of US war games in Korea has resumed this week. These major war drills take place several times a year on the Korean Peninsula, destroying hope for inter-Korean relations. These war drills must end!

At least 150 people are needed to connect the missions in this symbolic gesture. The event organizers have signed up 100 people. We need your help to reach our goal of 150 or more – please sign up if you can join!
