Global Protest to Close Guantanamo
January 11, 2025 @ 1:00 PM - 2:00 PM

Join us as we demand the closure of Guantánamo! 11 men have recently been transferred, but 15 still remain. 6 of them have never been charged with any crime; 3 have been cleared for transfer; 3 have been held indefinitely without charge; 7 have been charged and still await trial in the (kangaroo) military commissions tribunals.
President Biden still has the time authority to close Guantanamo and, most urgently, for the release of the 14 men approved for release but still not freed — 26 men still remain incarcerated in the U.S. torture camp which will have been in operation for 23 years come January 2025.
