The US camp at Guantánamo was hastily set up in 2002 by the U.S. military under the orders of the Bush regime, with the authorization of Congress, to illegally detain and hold prisoners indefinitely without charges. It became a training ground to develop torture “enhanced interrogation” techniques, drawing on brutal methods used by the U.S. and by tyrannies around the world in an official governmental effort to subvert, ignore, and trample on the rule of law.

On Tuesday, January 11, 4:00 PM- 6:00 PM
New York Library Steps
5th Avenue @41st Street
U.S. actions at this camp are war crimes in clear violation of the Geneva Conventions and international law.
