March 11, 2021 @ 9:30 AM 11:30 AM

On Thursday, March 11 at 1:30 PM If you follow news from the movie world, you’ve probably heard about “The Mauritanian,” based on the true story of Mohamedou Ould Slahi. He’s a Mauritanian citizen who was tortured over three years during the Bush administration and unjustly imprisoned at Guantanamo Bay, Cuba, for fourteen years, although he was NEVER CHARGED with a crime. It’s impossible to feel anything but Intense revulsion and shame at what OUR government did to Mohahamdou Ould Slahi, and CONTINUES to do to the forty human beings who are still held there.  YOU can join the growing movement to close Guantanamo, and to end the policies which allow our country to hold people without charges or trial for indefinite periods of time.
