Hundreds of Brooklyn residents, activists, clergy and elected officials marched through the streets of downtown Brooklyn today. It was the ninth annual Children of Abraham peace march that brought people of all faiths and ethnicities together.
The aim: to proclaim our common humanity and their desire, expressed through walking each year to mark the date of the attacks in New York on September 11, 2001, that the lessons learned from that terrible disaster be used to build unity and peace. Continue reading
